On 6 and 7 September 2022, the ERUDITE partners met for their final meeting in Lormes, France. Lormes has an ambition to be a village of the future; connected to global digital opportunities but also galvanising the community to co-create priority local services. With fibre-optic internet in every street and a multi-functional digital hub/fab-lab and related services, new opportunities are created for business, local government and the rural community. The partners had the opportunity to learn about a number of solutions that have been developed in collaboration with the community and have consequently revitalised the village with more residents, visitors and tourists.

The meeting was used for the first demonstration of the SEROI Calculator digital tool, one of the main outputs of the project. It is a tool that will allow us to better understand the value we create with a project or a new service and will help us to assess the social, environmental and economic viability of projects. The demonstration was carried out by our collaborator Vid Stropnik. The tool is available at: https://calculator.seroi.plus/.
