The partners of The Public Link project met in Galway, Ireland and tested several applications and technologies suitable for co-creating of new public services. The partners exchanged ideas on how to co-create public services engaging citizens through innovative and collaborative ways. The virtual environment TPL Platform with its toolkit and virtual labs for pilot areas was presented.
There are pilots within the project where public services will be developed with the help of co-creation methods and the use of modern technologies, such as: AR, VR, AI. Slovenian pilot includes the development of a virtual guide for freshmen students and participants of the summer school at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana. With the help of this service, the students will be able to navigate around the faculty and at the same time they will get relevant information and the opportunity to participate in various interactive quizzes and games. The service will be tested at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in order to study the possibility of upgrading it and using it in more complex environments and user scenarios.
