On 19 August, as part of the Smart Era and Šavrinke projects, we brought together research, fieldwork and local knowledge. We started the day at Divina Wine Hub, where we mapped the state of rural ecosystems, with a particular focus on digitalisation. This was followed by a workshop to coordinate the action plan for the Šmarje–Padna pilot area within the Smart Era project, as well as preparations for upcoming field filming. We continued by testing related solutions for rural mobility, gathering feedback, and reviewing shorter learning trails in Krkavče. It was there that we wrapped up a very successful day, recording a short interview with Patricija Pirnat on the theme of women in rural areas. The contribution will be prepared in connection with the International Day of Rural Women, which will be marked through the Smart Era and Šavrinke projects. A day that once again showed the importance of connecting projects, knowledge and people.
