The Digital Rural project invites you to the upcoming Interregional Learning Event (ILE10), dedicated to rural mobility and access to services. The online session will bring together examples of innovative mobility solutions, mobile digital services, and national support systems that help improve accessibility and inclusion in rural communities.

This session will focus on practical approaches to improving access to mobility and essential services in rural areas. It will present complementary solutions, from national-level support systems for digital public services to innovative mobility models and mobile service delivery. Participants will gain insights into how digital tools, local partnerships, and user-centered approaches can help bridge accessibility gaps and strengthen inclusion in rural communities.

Toyota GO and Sopotniki present two complementary good practices in digital mobility that addresses accessibility and connectivity challenges in rural areas. These digital platforms enable more efficient use of existing transport resources and improve access to services and daily activities, particularly for older populations. The presentation will highlight the role of local partnerships, technology, and tailored solutions in developing sustainable rural mobility.

10:30 –10:45 Mobilni Heroji: Bringing Digital Services Closer to Rural Communities
Edita Tamše, Ljudska univerza Velenje (Adult Education Centre Velenje), Head and Coordinator of Digital Projects

Mobilni Heroji represent a comprehensive and sustainability-oriented solution for improving access to digital services in rural areas. Through tailored mobile units, the initiative brings knowledge, support, and a wide range of digital services directly to residents in remote and underserved communities. It contributes to reducing the digital divide, strengthening digital competences, and promoting social inclusion. The presentation will highlight measurable impacts, implementation challenges, and the potential for transfer to other regions.

10:45 –11:00 Digi Info točke: Bringing Digital Public Services Closer to Citizens
Mojca Štruc, Ministry of Digital Transformation, Director General, Digital Society Directorate

The initiative presents a nationwide model for improving access to digital public services through a network of local support points. By providing in-person assistance, the initiative helps bridge the digital divide, particularly in rural areas. The presentation will highlight the system setup, implementation approach, and its relevance for other regions.
