The Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana was visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia, Goran Milevski, and a Member of the National Assembly, Sandra Gazinkovski.

The main topic of the meeting was cooperation between Slovenian and Macedonian organisations, and they discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of research, education and cooperation in projects and programmes financed by European funds.

Prof. Dr. Andrej Kos, Head of the Telecommunications Laboratory, introduced the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and highlighted the key research directions of the Telecommunications and Multimedia Laboratories.

In the following, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emilija Stojmenova Duh presented the activities of 4PDIH, opportunities for networking with Macedonian organizations and companies, and successful projects in the field of digitalization of companies and communities Argene Superina presented the ICT Academy with professional training programmes for adults in the fields of ICT, multimedia and digital transformation, and Tjaša Sobočan presented the trainings for municipalities and teachers in the framework of 4PDIH. Deniza Bundalevska shared her project experience with the potential for networking with complementary organisations in North Macedonia, and Simona Stojanova shared her experience of studying in Slovenia.

The meeting concluded with an agreement for further cooperation in the form of a visit to selected organisations in North Macedonia in April, where we will continue to exchange knowledge, good practices and strengthen links between students, teachers and researchers.
