On 18 February 2025, the Incubator Sežana hosted a co-partnership workshop in the framework of the international project Smart Era, pilot Šmarje/Padna. Participants learned about and tested the ToyotaGo on-demand transport service.
After a presentation of the app, the transport system and a discussion with representatives of the municipalities of Sežana, Koper and Piran and local communities, we drove ToyotaGo vehicles to Lipica, where we analysed the applicability of sustainable solutions based on practical experience and participatory qualitative methods.
In the Smart Innovation Package (SIP) workshop, which was conducted by Mag. Nataša Božić, Dr. Nina Cvar and Dr. Jure Trilar, we used the new SIP methodology developed in the framework of the Smart Era project to review the participants’ experiences so far and the key organisational, technological, legal and infrastructural elements of such solutions and synthesise the findings.
The event was organised by the Rotunda Centre and the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering within the Smart Era project.
