In the Italian city of Padova, not far from the Slovenian border, SaMBA project meeting is taking place on February 20 and 21 in the framework of Interreg Alpine Space program.

The project promotes changes in sustainable mobility habits through reward schemes and pricing approaches. At the meeting, the partners, including the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, LTFE, were introduced to the progress made in the pilot areas and to the substantive work in the field of introducing and documenting these practices.

The meeting is organized in the fascinating atmosphere of the Museum Conference Hall in the University City of Padua, where the student beat is very prominent.

As the photo below shows, sustainable mobility methods are already well known to the locals. Such implementation of the project objectives in practice at the local level can only be very warmly welcomed.
