We present the proceedings from the international expert conference UP 2018. In May 2018 an international expert conference Utrip of the future was organized in Kranj. The conference purpose was to present the innovations of the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, economics, construction and security. In addition, contemporary pedagogical methods and ways of integrating education and the economy have also been presented.
