On Monday, 15 July 2019, we hosted senior lecturer Alexandra Soloveva in Diploma Room at Faculty of Electrical Engineering where she held a lecture titled ‘Development of telecommunication facilities for dynamic support of geometric data in scientific publications’ and introduced her experience with international exchange. In 2009, she spent 6 months in LTFE as an international student, while currently she teaches subjects on computer modelling at SPbSUT (The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications).
She introduced a computer programme Simplex, which is meant for solving difficult tasks with the help of geometry. Her lecture also gave us insight into the inner workings of international office at SPbSUT.
