DIGITRANS aims to boost digitalization among regional SMEs, enhance policies focused on strengthening research, technological development, and innovation, and contribute to advancing innovation capacities across the Adriatic-Ionian region.
The project will improve regional policies that support research, technological development, and innovation, along with their counterparts in the ERDF and IPA partner regions. The objective is to create an enhanced policy framework (instruments and measures) that better meets the needs of SMEs in regions with manufacturing activity and smart specialization.
In each partner region, the project will establish a quadruple helix model, serving as a platform for collaboration among key stakeholders to promote digitalization and the adoption of other innovative technologies within SMEs, thereby increasing their competitiveness. Additionally, trans-regional cooperation among partner regions will contribute to the formation of a joint trans-regional platform for achieving international outcomes in promoting digitalization. This platform will facilitate knowledge exchange, shared experiences, and the development of joint action plans to enhance digitalization within the partnership, establishing collaborative links between regions.
