The purpose and objective of the project is a pilot IoT ecosystem (platform) for legal, secure, reliable, exchangeable and transparent IoT data, which will subsequently be managed within the framework of data spaces for public services.

The pilot of the IoT Connectivity Platform focuses on a key challenge – a variety of IoT endpoints (sensors, actuators, dedicated devices) that communicate via various transmission and data protocols, wirelessly or via wired connections, must first be connected to the overarching IoT system.

The first user is the Directorate of Tangible Property, which manages about 350 facilities. As part of the energy renovation of buildings, it must introduce energy management, which requires the collection of data from sensors and various energy meters installed on the buildings, which is also the basis for the required energy accounting. The collection of this data will be facilitated by a pilot IoT interconnection platform
