Good Practices from the Municipality of \u010crna na Koro\u0161kem<\/b>
\nIn August 2023, the Municipality of \u010crna na Koro\u0161kem was completely cut off from the outside world due to floods and landslides. The challenges of communication during a total loss of electricity and telecommunication networks will be presented by\u00a0Mag. Romana Lesjak<\/b>, Mayor of the Municipality of \u010crna na Koro\u0161kem. The presentation will highlight key lessons learned from the crisis and the measures that have since strengthened the municipality\u2019s preparedness for similar events.<\/p>\n

\nThis session will provide an overview of modern public alerting and crisis-communication technologies used across the European Union, including location-based SMS, sirens, radio, television, mobile applications, and satellite-based systems.
