{"id":35183,"date":"2025-04-18T11:39:56","date_gmt":"2025-04-18T09:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ltfe.org\/en\/?p=35183"},"modified":"2025-06-06T15:26:29","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:26:29","slug":"codil-meeting-in-laval-connecting-for-the-future-of-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ltfe.org\/en\/codil-meeting-in-laval-connecting-for-the-future-of-innovation\/","title":{"rendered":"CODIL Meeting in Laval: Connecting for the Future of Innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">From April 8 to 10, 2025, the final interregional meeting of the CODIL project took place in Laval, France, hosted by Laval Mayenne Technopole. <!--more-->The event brought together partners and stakeholders from Slovenia, Romania, and Ireland to strengthen collaboration, review progress, and shape future directions.<\/p>\n<p>The central focus was the thematic workshop\u00a0<strong>New Business Models for Sustainable Innovation Centres<\/strong>, exploring how innovation hubs can adapt to evolving work patterns and regional development needs. A notable contribution was the presentation of the local good practice \u201cChallenge and Competences,\u201d which fosters cooperation between schools and companies to develop skills and support innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Participants visited key elements of Laval\u2019s innovation ecosystem, including a co-working space, the northern business zone, and FabLab Crealab. A highlight of the program was the visit to Laval Virtual, Europe\u2019s leading XR exhibition and conference.<\/p>\n<p>The event featured cutting-edge immersive technology showcases, expert-led conferences, and a dedicated CODIL workshop. Speakers included Gr\u00e9gory Duvalet (Clart\u00e9), Diego Monteiro (ESIEA), and Madeth May with Corentin Coupry (LIUM, IUT Laval \/ University of Le Mans), who shared applications of XR in industry, workplace settings, and education.<\/p>\n<p>Iztok Ren\u010delj, CEO of EDGETECH d.o.o., offered a powerful reflection:<br \/>\n<i>\u201cLaval Virtual was an excellent opportunity to learn about emerging trends in XR. The event brought together experts from various industries and countries, enabling valuable knowledge exchange and networking. I would gladly seize any future opportunity to connect through European projects.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Teodor Stimec, CEO of OPTICS Trade, shared his experience:<br \/>\n<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\u201cLaval Virtual 2025 was an excellent opportunity for me to learn about trends in this industry and new technologies, connect with potential collaborators, and test the latest equipment that is usually not available to us.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The meeting in Laval reinforced CODIL\u2019s commitment to developing resilient, sustainable innovation
