TeachXR focuses on exploring and integrating advanced technologies such as virtual, augmented, and extended reality in primary and secondary schools.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the TeachXR project is to enhance the quality of education by incorporating advanced technologies as complementary tools to traditional teaching methods. Within the project framework, we will provide primary and secondary school teachers with the necessary knowledge to develop content and integrate XR technologies into the learning process. The project will also include customized training for mentors and the establishment of learning labs to familiarize and experiment with XR technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The TeachXR project partners include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (Lead Partner);<\/li>\n<li>University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science;<\/li>\n<li>University of Maribor, Faculty of Education;<\/li>\n<li>University of Primorska, Faculty of Management;<\/li>\n<li>School Centre Slovenske Konjice \u2013 Zre\u010de;<\/li>\n<li>School Centre Novo Mesto;<\/li>\n<li>Upper Secondary School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Technical Gymnasium Ljubljana;<\/li>\n<li>Markovci Primary School;<\/li>\n<li>Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training;<\/li>\n<li>Institute of Contemporary History.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana serves as the project coordinator, with Klemen Pe\u010dnik leading the project\u2019s content development.<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, the attendees were addressed on behalf of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bo\u0161tjan Batagelj, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research, and the Head of the Laboratory for Multimedia, Prof. Dr. Matev\u017e Poga\u010dnik. Klemen Pe\u010dnik, the project\u2019s content lead, concluded the opening remarks. The project activities commenced with partner presentations, followed by a review of the work packages and project activities. Several working groups were established, including the project management group, quality assurance group, and dissemination and promotion group.
