The Kick-Off meeting gathered the (6) Project Partners, along with representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Digital Transformation, to discuss and start the implementation of the project activities. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0COVID-Distrupted Regional Innovation Ecosystems (CODIL) project<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>addresses\u00a0common regional development issues\u00a0brought about\u00a0by COVID-19 pandemic, which requires\u00a0European regions\u00a0to\u00a0upgrade and adapt their local innovation ecosystems\u00a0in order\u00a0to react to the changed innovation patterns.\u00a0Through a review\u00a0and adaptation\u00a0of regional development policies,\u00a0the project will improve the implementation of several policy instruments in the field of Smarter Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The Project is financed by the EU Interreg Programme 2021-2027, for a period of 4 years.<\/p>\n<p>Following the official opening presentation of the Project work plan by the Univerisity of Ljublajna \u2013 the Project Lead, the main issues of interest and the first project activities were discussed between the Partners from Ireland, Romania, Finland, France, Spain and Slovenia. The digital policies at national level in Slovenia were addressed by the Slovenian Ministry of Digital Transformation.
